Originariamente, infatti, era un territorio agrario extra urbano che si caratterizz\u00f2 per il forte significato religioso e per la rilevanza paesaggistica e agli inizi del Settecento con la costruzione della Reggia, per le residenze signorili quali le ville e le case coloniche di pertinenza.<br>Carlo di Borbone scegliendo Capodimonte come luogo di residenza estiva attir\u00f2 molti nobili rendendo l\u2019area anche meta del Grand Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carlo Forquet, banchiere francese, trasferitosi alla fine del Settecento nella capitale borbonica, acquist\u00f2 i terreni che, a partire dal punto pi\u00f9 alto dello Scudillo, degradavano per circa due ettari lungo la strada che raggiungeva la Sanit\u00e0 e trasform\u00f2 le costruzioni preesistenti in Villa Forquet,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Grand Tour villa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Villa Forquet, now called Villa Clara, is an eighteenth-century building located near the Scudillo di Capodimonte in Naples, a place of ancient rural sites transformed by the Bourbon nobility after the construction of the Royal Palace of Capodimonte. Originally, in fact, it was an extra-urban agricultural territory which was characterized by its strong religious significance and landscape relevance and at the beginning of the eighteenth century with the construction of the Royal Palace, by the noble residences such as the villas and farmhouses of relevance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charles of Bourbon, choosing Capodimonte as a place of summer residence, attracted many nobles and made the area also a destination for the Grand Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Villa is part of the naturalistic system of the Scudillo with a building neoclassical of Vanvitellian inspiration with a rectangular plan and avant-corps projecting towards the garden characterized by tree species such as camphor, eucalyptus, magnolias, oaks, holm oaks, also rich in exotic plants, and overlooking the Gulf of Naples, with an area cultivated with terraces citrus groves, vineyards and orchards.
